Competition Logistics
In the case of unexpected travel delays, please contact Santiago Bertero. Teams arriving late to Aesthetics due to travel complications will not be penalized, but must coordinate with the planning team to make the appropriate arrangements.
All teams will be responsible for their own personal protection equipment (PPE) for use during competition.
Aesthetics and Layout
Bridges will be set up for Aesthetics on the west side of the indoor practice facility.
Bridges may be dropped off for Aesthetics anytime in the set up window (11:00AM-3:00PM). Refer to the maps in the mailer for the drop-off location. The drop-off zone is restricted to vehicles actively unloading bridges and teams will be asked to keep the drop-off zone clear by keeping a steady flow of traffic.
Please enter the drop-off zone with your vehicle, immediately unload your bridge, and immediately leave the drop-off zone. Please park your vehicle in the approved Lane Stadium South Endzone Lot 2. Virginia Tech and the SSBC organizing group are not responsible for bridges that are dropped off.
Main Competition Day Instructions
The current plan is for bridges to be dropped off at the south end of the practice facility, near Gate 7 of Lane Stadium - please refer to Mailer #2 for more detailed maps. This location is subject to change up to the day of the competition; an email will be sent to the advisors and captains from each team in such an event.
Teams will be asked to keep the drop-off zone clear by keeping a steady flow of traffic. Please enter the drop-off zone with your vehicle, immediately unload your bridge, and immediately leave the drop-off zone. Please park your vehicle in the approved Lane Stadium South Endzone Lot 2. Note that each team is responsible for handling and watching their own bridge.
